The C406-N series of ELTs is a single output ELT that incorporates latitude and longitude information directly from the aircraft navigation system. In the event of a crash, the C406-N ELT automatically activities and transmits an emergency message on the standard swept tone on 121.5 and 243 MHz and also transmits an encoded digital message to the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system at 406 MHz. Using an optional programming adapter, the ELT can also be programmed with the aircraft's 24-bit address and other custom programming for fleet operations.


Part 455-5064 includes the C406-N HM ELT transmitter, rod antennas, and remote switch.
