The AR6201 VHF transceiver is smaller and lighter than the legendary AR 4201 due to implementation of state-of-art Digital Signal Processing technology. Its full graphic LCD is sunlight readable and dimmable for night operation. Dual watch mode allows monitoring of the active channel and a second frequency. It also includes an integrated VOX/Intercom circuit to facilitate communication between pilot and co-pilot. Up to 99 preset frequencies can be easily entered and stored in non-volatile memory. Other features include SCAN mode, music/aux input, programmable frequency labels, low power mode and stuck PTT indication. In addition, the last nine channels used are stored in memory for quick access. The RT6201 remote transponder allows for 2 tandem control heads for a single radio. TSO Certified.
